Hey! Watch This!

This is my 100th post. Does that mean anything?

Anyway, take a look at this short clip! Rather funny, but very useful in helping you understand the 5 stages of grief process that one goes through in death or loss.

Random

all of us have urges one time or another to do weird things.

just one minute ago, i felt like dancing in the rain...but reality is : (i) I can't dance (ii) it's not raining (iii) it would be cold.. brr...

I often have impulses to do uncommon things. But sadly, they remain as urges, and never history. I wonder, if there are meanings behind these impulses. and I wonder, if I follow such impulses, things would be so different.

There is a crazy and hyper me - maybe you caught a glimpse of it, maybe you cannot imagine. But this crazy me has many faces, from child-like playfulness to idealistically romantic. Yet, when the night fades and the morning comes, reality is back and the heart calms.

Is it right when they say 'follow your heart'? I don't think so, I don't know.

One day, will you be mine? Now, that is real random. As real as the mind.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
I just finished my first exam paper for this semester. Do-able! 3 more to go. yeah!

sombre

My heart goes out to you.
Yet, nothing I can do, only God can.

I've been reminded repeatedly these few days that the world is a sick and dying place. People dying, people falling sick. When we come to the end of ourselves, to realize that life and death is not in our control, perhaps this leaves us with much insecurity. What security do you have after death? And what security do you have now?

Twitching Eyelid , anyone?

My lower left eyelid keeps twitching! argh! It was fun for a while, but irritating when it carries on for days!

I like the internet. It gives access to all kinds of information that I want at a split second. A google on eyelid twitch suggested that lack of sleep, stress, or staring at something, i.e. computer for too long might be the cause of the twitch.

I sleep 10 hours a day. Lack of sleep? nah.
I dun feel stressed at all. Stress? nah.
I watch more tv than staring at the computer. Staring at the comp? Maybe more of the TV.

hmm. I don't really know what is the cause, but i just know that it's getting very irritating! and right now, it's twitching again!!!

Remember those young days where students share the belief that 'something good or something bad' is going to happen to you depending on which eyelid twitch? If only it was true. and i'm supposed to have something bad happen to me. or maybe good. depending on which side you start counting from. heh.

Harm

"You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is not being done, the saving of many lives." Genesis 50:20

It has been a roller-coaster ride these 2 weeks, with things happening that i never imagined would ever happen. I was sleeping last night, and was reminded of how God turns every intended harm on me for good. Yes, I'm safe in Daddy's arms once again. Thank You Lord.

OUCH!

Don't laugh. I was just sitting at my table doing my work, when there was a sharp pain in my lower back. Now, i have to walk slowly, sit slowly, bend down slowly, and grimmace each time i move my legs. Tell me i'm not going to be paralyzed please.

A google search on lower back pain brings up many possible causes, one of them says "inactivity". haha. how true. i think i sprained a muscle lah. Thankfully, the websites do not make it sound serious, and advice for plenty of rest. yeah!
